For Cities, Towns & Municipalities
Free residential eWaste pickup for your residents. Your town never writes a check — your part is a channel to your citizens and promotion on your own website and social pages. From the end of year one, 10% of all revenue flows into a green municipal fund for public city projects.

E-waste is the fastest-growing waste stream in America. The average household has 5–10 old devices collecting dust — and when they finally clean house, most of it ends up in a landfill. The toxic materials (lead, mercury, cadmium) leach into your soil and groundwater.
<5%
of residential eWaste is currently captured by typical town e-waste events. The rest goes to landfill or sits in garages.
22 tons
of eWaste diverted per month from a single mid-size community with regular pickup service vs. semi-annual events.
$0
for residents. Free porch-side pickup means no barrier to participation. Higher participation = higher diversion.
A 3-year exclusive partnership that gives your residents free eWaste pickup, your municipality free IT recycling, and returns 10% of revenue as community funding.
Your municipality grants TechHaulers exclusive residential eWaste collection rights: a 3-year commitment. That long exclusivity is what lets us fund the build-out ourselves.
We schedule porch-side pickups (no curbside — HOA-friendly), run bi-monthly routes, and host semi-annual community drop-off events. We market it. You promote it.
Starting at the end of year one, 10% of gross revenue goes into a green municipal trust or fund — restricted to public green and high-tech city projects. That's $90K–$100K/year for a community of ~60,000 residents.
Everything your residents and your municipality need — at zero cost to your town, from day one.
Porch-side scheduling (HOA-compliant), bi-monthly routes, plus two semi-annual community drop-off events per year. Residents pay nothing — ever.
Your own town's IT equipment — old servers, workstations, networking gear, decommissioned police/communications equipment — recycled at zero cost.
All data-bearing devices are wiped to NIST 800-88 standards. Certificate of Destruction and chain-of-custody documentation provided for every pickup.
10% of all gross revenue from your community's eWaste stream goes into a green municipal trust or fund, paid annually starting at the end of year one. Restricted to public city projects.
QR-tracked materials show exactly what was diverted and where it went. Annual diversion reports for your council. Real numbers, not greenwashed promises.
Our diversion tracking can contribute to LEED green building credits. Your sustainability office gets the data they need for certifications and reporting.
Year one: we build the program. Year two and beyond: your green fund gets paid. Your town's only contribution is outreach.
We carry the full cost of standing up the program: trucks, equipment, routing, and the resident awareness campaign. No upfront fee. No annual fee. Ever. What we ask in return is the long-term exclusive agreement on your residents' eWaste — that commitment is what makes our investment work. (Our $105,023 Arizona recycling grant application is filed with ADEQ and in state review.)
At the end of year one, the payback begins. Every year after, 10% of gross revenue from your community's waste stream goes into a green municipal trust or fund. It keeps coming for the life of the partnership.
No Phase 1 fees. Your town's contribution is outreach and promotion. Request a custom proposal for your town's numbers.
Your town never writes a check. Your part is a channel to your citizens and promotion on your own website and social media. After year one, green funding starts coming in.
"We brought free eWaste recycling to every resident AND funded $90K/year in green projects — at no cost to taxpayers." That's a press release that writes itself.
Tons diverted. Landfill space saved. Materials tracked from porch to final destination. Real data for your sustainability reports and council updates.
You're not running e-waste events, storing materials, or hiring staff. We handle everything — scheduling, transportation, processing, reporting.
Every device with data storage is wiped to NIST 800-88 standards with a Certificate of Destruction. Protects your residents and your municipality from data liability.
Your old municipal equipment doesn't just get recycled — it gets repurposed. Old police servers and communications gear are refurbished into kid-safe gaming servers for your community. That's a story.
When your municipality upgrades its servers, communications gear, or IT infrastructure — that old equipment doesn't just get ground up and recycled. We refurbish it.
Decommissioned police servers become kid-safe gaming servers — AI-monitored Minecraft and Terraria communities where kids play safely online.
That's not just recycling. That's your town's old equipment protecting your town's kids online. It's the circular economy made real — and it's a story your residents will love.
Three towns have already put us to work.
Prescott, Arizona
Ran a 100% free e-waste haul for the city in September. Every drive wiped and verified to NIST 800-88.
Page, Arizona
Collected 100% of the city's municipal eWaste: fire, police, and government offices. Their old communications equipment now runs kid-safe gaming servers for local families.
Arroyo Grande, California
Collected 100% of the city's municipal eWaste: fire, police, and government offices. Equipment refurbished and repurposed.
Page and Arroyo Grande gave written approval to be featured in public materials about the gaming server initiative. Both towns are considering the year-round community collection pilot. Nobody has signed on yet. Your town could be first.

Devices that still work are tested, refurbished, and given a second life through our online store. Nothing usable goes to waste.
Old police servers, communications gear, and IT infrastructure are refurbished into community assets — like kid-safe gaming servers.
Broken devices are dismantled into component materials — aluminum, steel, plastic, copper — and separated at our Arizona facility using mechanical classification (no chemicals, no emissions).
PCBs are processed for copper, gold, and silver recovery through EPA-compliant third-party refiners. Nothing shipped overseas. Nothing to landfill.
We are currently pursuing R2v3 and e-Stewards certification — the industry's highest standards for responsible electronics recycling. We do not hold these certifications yet, and we won't pretend we do.
What we do have today: a proprietary compliance platform that enforces NIST 800-88, R2, and e-Stewards standards at the process level — meaning every device is handled according to those standards, tracked, and documented from pickup to final processing.
Full transparency. You'll always know exactly what happens to your community's equipment after we pick it up.
No. Residential pickup is 100% free. Drop-off events are 100% free. There is never a charge to a resident for any TechHaulers service.
Nothing in cash. Your town's contribution is reach: a channel to your citizens through your town newsletters and other resident communications. Plus your resident mailing list for our postcards and mailers. Plus promotion on your website and social media accounts. We fund everything else — trucks, pickups, processing, and the awareness campaign.
10% of gross revenue from all materials collected in your municipality, paid annually starting at the end of year one. It goes into a green municipal trust or fund restricted to public green and high-tech city projects. We report it with full transparency — you see exactly what was collected, what it generated, and what your fund received.
Great — we complement them. Most towns capture less than 5% of available residential eWaste through events alone. Regular bi-monthly pickup service dramatically increases diversion. We can either replace or augment your existing program.
We use porch-side scheduling, not curbside — specifically to comply with residential and HOA regulations. Residents schedule a pickup window, we come to their porch, and we go. No piles of eWaste on the curb.
All materials are transported to our processing facility in Mohave County, Arizona. No heavy processing happens in your community — we just collect and haul. All separation is mechanical (no chemicals, no emissions). Nothing is shipped overseas.
All data-bearing devices are processed following NIST 800-88 guidelines for media sanitization. Certificate of Destruction and chain-of-custody documentation is provided for every municipal pickup. This protects your residents and your municipality from data liability.
Our model is validated for communities of 5,000–15,000+ residents. The revenue share scales with volume — larger communities generate more material and higher green fund returns. We'll assess your population and provide a custom projection.
Yes — and it's free. Your town's own decommissioned servers, workstations, networking gear, and old police/communications equipment are all collected at zero cost as part of the partnership. NIST 800-88 wiping and Certificates of Destruction are included.
Tell us about your community and we'll build a custom partnership proposal with projected green funding, collection volume, and timeline. We'll be in touch within 48 hours.
